This might be the first jazz CD that I would hand someone who is not into jazz. Some of the best musicians I’ve ever been around playing serious music with a serious sense of humor.

Steve is a great friend and an encyclopedia of drumming. I’m lucky to have him on probably 90% of the recordings I make.
